Environmentalists’ Big Lie about Renewable Energy
Anne Applebaum writes about how environmentalists are opposing renewable energy sources just as they are becoming practical:
“The problem plaguing new energy developments is no longer NIMBYism, the “Not-In-My-Back-Yard” movement. The problem now, as one wind-power executive puts it, is BANANAism: “Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anything.” ….Are we really ready, politically, to build any new energy sources at all?”
When will the public realize that environmentalism is opposed to industrial civilization itself?

Industrial civilization is not the BE ALL and end all of all time. It is a brief dot on the history of human evolution. I don’t think wind/solar & other alternative sources of energy have anything to do with environmentalism or politics – they are a natural progression from what is industrial to what is sustainable.
To oppose environmentalism is meaningless – to oppose clean air, water is obsurd. Cancer is rampid, corporations can do zero discharge, it is cost effective and in the long run critical to their survival. See the film Texas Gold that shows how workers at chemical plants are guaranteed death sentences and know it.
