About UsThe A&M Objectivism Club is a student organization dedicated to the continuing study of Objectivism, the philosophy developed by Ayn Rand. We meet officially twice a month to present various topics of interest to the student community, general philosophy topics, and notable speakers from around the country. Last year’s topics included the war with Iraq, abortion, multiculturalism, the economy, terrorism, the nature of rights, and the philosophy of science. Unofficially we get together to watch movies on the weekends, enjoying rational, intelligent company (and a few drinks) while critiquing Hollywood's latest works. We have fun, bring thought-provoking issues to the public, and look good doing it!If you would like to learn about Objectivism, the philosophy we promote, your best bet is http://www.aynrand.org/objectivism/essentials.htmlInterested in becoming a member?
